Litai LIU has achieved a Phd from University of Reading, her area of research expertise is gut microbiology, microbial fermentation and bioinformatics. She is interested in developing the impact of prebiotics and probiotics on the microbial fermentation, through in vitro anaerobic fermentation batch culture, fed batch and continuous fermentation systems with lab scale bioreactors. Using a metabonomic and metagenomics approach to characterise the microbial consequences.
